Alumni of Experiential Travel Programs share a common experience. They are Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston members who worked for a full year to earn their spot on an amazing and memorable two-week trip. Following the belief that your network is your NET WORTH, alumni of these programs are strongly encouraged to stay connected, both socially and professionally, to one another, to Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and to the next generation of Club members.
The goal of the Alumni Network is to provide a crucial support network to our growing alumni base, especially as they prepare to graduate from high school and transition into college or career. The network also allows a way to give back to current teens and the Boys & Girls Club community. Opportunities to stay connected include the following:
- Attending the annual reunion dinner for the travel program at one’s Club to keep relationships and community alive.
- Updating your contact information on this website or sending us a message so we can stay in touch with you.
- Volunteering to be a guest speaker at one of the pre-trip workshops. Share your travel experiences with current Club members or talk about your post-high school path. Teens love hearing directly from alumni about Life After the Club.
- Serving on the Experiential Travel Programs Advisory Board to get actively involved in helping shape the direction of Experiential Travel Programs and plan alumni activities or outreach.
- Attending the summer social event for alumni from all Experiential Travel Programs. Come together to share memorable travel stories, network and have fun!
